However, the 500 mg product has not been available for some time and so from necessity I purchased the smaller dose product and now have no choice but to take two of the 250 mg tablets to get the daily amount I need. Each 250 mg tablet seems as large as one 500 mg tablet. Thus, it is not my choice as at is hard to swallow times two--if truth be told, I would prefer a 500 mg capsule of unenhanced calcium if that choice were available."
