Helps Promote Clear and Free Breathing*

  • All-natural formula helps support healthy lung function*
  • Helps promote clear and free breathing*
  • Exclusive blend of vitamins, minerals and other supportive nutrients

A healthy respiratory system is vital for good health. Breathing provides your body with necessary oxygen and removes carbon dioxide, which makes every breath you take so critical. There are many factors that can have a negative effect on your lungs and respiratory system. Every day we are exposed to pollution, smoke, pollen, dust and other environmental factors, as well as daily stress, all of which can make breathing uncomfortable and difficult.

Bronson's new Respiration formula helps promote clear breathing.* It contains an exclusive blend of vitamin, minerals, herbs and other nutrients to support healthy lung function*, including:

Beta Carotene: Beta Carotene, along with vitamins A, C and E and the minerals zinc, selenium and copper, are all antioxidant nutrients thought to provide important defense mechanisms for the lungs. Antioxidants are an integral part of the body's free radical defense system and work as scavengers to help neutralize harmful free radicals and protect cells from damage. Free radicals contribute to cellular damage and disease. These nutrients help provide antioxidant protection because free radicals and other oxidizing agents can stimulate bronchial constriction. In addition, carotenes may help increase the integrity of the epithelial lining of the respiratory tract.

Vitamin C: A water-soluble vitamin utilized by every cell in the body, Vitamin C is effective in maintaining a healthy immune system and provides antioxidant protections and is especially important to lung health as it is a major antioxidant present in the lining of the airway surfaces. Impaired lung function may be increased by exposure to environmental free radicals.

Magnesium: Magnesium is required for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. Research has shown that dietary magnesium intake is directly related to lung function and can help open airways.

Vitamin B6: Vitamin B6 is required for the proper functioning of more than 60 different enzymes and plays a vital role in the multiplication of all cells. Vitamin B6 is important for maintaining proper immune function, which can be compromised during stressful situations. This B-vitamin is involved in the formation of body proteins (e.g. antibodies, lymphocytes, etc.) and structural compounds (e.g. mucous membrane, skin, etc.). It also helps support the body's anti-allergy mechanisms.

Pantothenic Acid: Also known as Vitamin B5, Pantothenic Acid is another of the B complex vitamins and is present in all living cells. It is often referred to as the "anti-stress" vitamin because it is important for supporting adrenal function. Pantothenic acid is required for manufacturing substances that play a critical role in the utilization of fats and carbohydrates in energy production and the manufacture of adrenal hormones and red blood cells.

Zinc: Zinc is involved in a variety of body functions and is part of many enzyme systems. It also provides antioxidant support, helping to protect cells from free radicals. Zinc provides immune support, having been shown to increase T-lymphocyte production and enhance other white blood cell functions.

Quercetin: Flavonoids appear to be key antioxidants in the maintenance of healthy lung function. Quercetin, a flavonoid, has been shown in particular to inhibit histamine release. Quercetin also has a vitamin C-sparing effect and a direct stabilizing effect on membranes.

Thymus Concentrate: Sometimes referred to as the "king" of the immune system, the Thymus is one of the body's immune system glands, helping to regulate immune function. It is located in the upper part of the chest behind the breastbone and plays an essential role in the production of T-lymphocytes. Nutritional supplements utilizing Thymus extracts (concentrate) have been studied for their effectiveness in supporting a healthy respiratory tract and supporting immune function.

Nettle Leaves: A perennial, fibrous herb, Nettle has been used traditionally to support respiratory function and reduce allergies. It has been shown to help relieve inflammation caused by allergic reactions and helps clear congestion. It has also demonstrated expectorant activity, which is helpful in maintaining healthy lung function.

Bromelain: A protein-digesting enzyme complex extracted from pineapples, Bromelain has been shown to help sustain a healthy upper respiratory tract by providing antitussive and mucolytic activity, thereby supporting increased lung capacity and function.

Licorice Root: With a long and storied history, Licorice has been traditionally used as a superior expectorant for respiratory concerns. It also acts as an anti-tussive and anti-allergic agent. As a demulcent, Licorice soothes mucous membranes in the respiratory tract.
