Grown on small plot farms near the rainforest in Brazil, our certified organic acerola cherries not only provide a rich, natural source of vitamin C, they also provide a renewable crop and sustainable agricultural for the local farmers. Acerola is a small, tropical fruit-bearing tree and it takes 7 years for the acerola trees to reach maturity. Each small plot farm is approximately 5 to 10 acres in size and is eco-friendly by making sure the water remains clean and pure and the eco-system is maintained.

Spirulina is a blue-green algae powerhouse that is an incredible source of densely packed, broad-spectrum nutrition, including an excellent natural source of beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is part of a group of natural substances known as carotenoids or carotenes. Carotenoids are a family of compounds abundantly found in green plants, fruits and vegetables and are the predominant constituents that create their vibrant colors. In the body, beta-carotene is converted to vitamin A, which studies have shown is essential for healthy vision. Futurebiotics utilizes certified organic, 100% vegetarian (no animal waste or by-products) spirulina grown in dedicated ponds to ensure purity and quality.

Active Eyes^TM includes acerola extract, produced from cherries grown near the rainforest in Brazil on certified organic small-plot orchards and handpicked at the optimum time when the color reveals their peak vitamin C content. The cherries are then stored at temperatures just above freezing to preserve their vital nutrients.
